AnyLink: Text input menu item?

3) Describe problem: I tried to add a Google Search box as a menu item; it opens OK, but when the user clicks in the search box, it automatically disappears. Is there a way to fix it so the box doesn't disappear? I tried working around this by setting the Delay for 3000, but that unfortunately affects all menus since it's a global setting. Is there any way to adapt this script to do this? or do I have to use something like Dropdown HTML Control?
