Need css help - white space after footer

I just tried to do a drop down menu with transparent effect at http://www.animikastudios.com/ANSA/

Everything works fine except a large blank space at the footer.

Please help

To fix it, add display:none; to the dropdown DIV's inline style.

I'm not sure if this will affect the script, but it'll get rid of the whitespace...

I tried this. But as you expected, the drop down vanishes.

does this happen in multiple browsers?

it's almost as if your main div has a hieght setting or a sub div has one set explicitly.
