Is it possible to preload the images when the user first visits my homepage? (say from a google search)

What I want: the user will type www.example.com in the broswer - preloading will begin - user is redirected to itself (www.example.com) without a redirect loop and without the need to redirect it to something like www.example.com/home.htm
