edit: also, is there a way to make the rollover effect not work, in other words, not to give the end user the choice to look ahead or go back, play or pause.

Of course. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure there is no comma following the very last image definition, as highlighted in red below:

		["http://i29.tinypic.com/xp3hns.jpg", "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave", "", ""],
		["http://i30.tinypic.com/531q3n.jpg", "", "", "Eat your fruits, it's good for you!"],
		["http://i31.tinypic.com/119w28m.jpg", "", "", ""],
		["http://i31.tinypic.com/119w28m.jpg", "", "", ""],
		["http://i31.tinypic.com/119w28m.jpg", "", "", ""] //<--No comma following very last image!
	],

The trailing comma will trip up IE.
