Default Script Featured Content Slider v2.4 need help w/adding click-to-new-window feature

    1) Script Title: Featured Content Slider v2.4

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tentslider.htm

    3) Describe problem: I am using the forth slider in this script. Love it. Wanted to add another feature -- to be able to "left click" on the thumbnails and open in a new page. I added a target= for each thumbnail, which are successful in enabling the "open in a new page" option.

    [<a target="manufacturers" href="http://www.karenwiant.com/manufacturers.html">

    <img src="images/manufacturing_thumb.jpg" /></a> <a href="#" class="toc someclass">]

However, now the glider stops when the mouseover occurs.

Is there a way to keep the glider/mouseover reveal going, and still allow for the click-to-new-page?

    Thanks for your help. kwaint

Oooops... I owe you all an apology.

I still think this would be cool, but now realize that this script wasn't intended to keep the slider effect going after a thumbprint image was scrolled over. So...

Again, sorry to have taken up your time. And thanks for checking. (At least now you all have an add-on for click-through-to-a-new-page line.) kwiant
