IE 8 problems with Chrome CSS Drop Down Menu (v2.5)

3) Describe problem:
This drop down script works fine in IE 7 but when i updated my browser to IE 8, the drop down doesnt work properly. IE8 does have a button called Compatibility View to view the webpage in an older browser, however i need the drop down to work by default without clicking that button. Most users probably wont click that button anyways.

Is there a way to fix that script because i really like it. IR 8 had to mess it up

By not working, I assume you just mean the hover effect on the drop down menu doesn't work property? In other words, as described in this thread: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=45632
