Post Problems with making a mailing list form (Ajax & PHP)

    1) Script Title: Ajax post, and PHP

    2) Script URL (on DD): Ajax: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tm?agefield=78 (I got the sample PHP script from a different site: http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/191/856121 )

    3) Describe problem: I am trying to make a mailing list sign up form, but I can't figure out how to get the information to be sent to an email account. I've tried several things, and I am not very experienced with javascript so I decided it would be best to seek out some help.

Here is the page I have the form on: http://www.laurendragon.com/mailinglistform3.htm
Here is the PHP file that I'm using: http://www.laurendragon.com/LDEMAILFORM.PHP
I have done nothing to modify DD's ajaxroutine.js file, so that may be the cause of the problem as well.

    I really appreciate the help.

I think what you're looking for is in fact an Ajax form submission script. It incorporates a regular PHP (or CGI etc) form with an Ajax frontend. There are many such scripts out there, see: http://www.noupe.com/css/47-excellen...css-forms.html

Thanks, I decided that I'm going to stick with PHP instead of Ajax.
