Crawler crazy

3) Describe problem:
Works fine on another site. However I tried to use it in the exact same way on another site and have narrowed the problem down to the following:

1) Text will output fine if manually placed within the marquee div tag.
2) Tables will render with text fine.
3) One lone image tag is the culprit. There is nothing special about it but while present it prevents any ouput within the div tag. Once removed everything else appears to render. There are no class or ids assigned to the image. It only has a src, width and border property. Makes no sense.
