CSS solid block menu, help needed with some adjustments

Hi all, not a problem as such i was just wondering if its possible to make this menu work more like the menu on the IKEA uk website as seen here :

http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/

Basically, i like the fact the ends have rounded corners, but also how the first and second links have been given different colour schemes.

Any ideas if this DD menu can be adjusted to work in the same manner? If so any advice would be welcomed as i'm a CSS novice.
