    Default Includes

Alright, this is kind of similar to another thread, but when I tried what was posted there as a solution, it wasn't working for me.

Pretty much I have a site that I'd like to have a news program (cutenews) show up in my index when it loads. (it uses the setup 'news/news.php') to load. However, I'd like to be able to then have the content change when someone clicks a link using includes. When I asked a few other places, they gave me this long drawn out code that really didn't work, and I remmeber there's a way to do it where you put in some coding and it does the rest.

Therefore to load a page called 'about' you would go to www.sitename.com/index?id=about.php I believe.

Could someone please help me? I've literally spent about 5-6 hours messing around with different forms of includes to no avail and it's driving me nuts.

    Thanks

Nevermind, if someone could close this thread. I found what I was looking for. Thanks anyway though!
