Multiple Javascripts Conflict

3) Describe problem:
I am totally a newbie on javascript. I have combined two javascripts, one for random image display and another one for fading news ticker. It works beautifully in firefox, but it doesn't work properly on IE. I tried to combine the two scripts (not knowingly how) on the <body onload> but without success.
Any suggestions/advice?
