code for multiple dates? - Dynamic Countdown Script II

I have about a dozen dates (football games) that I would like to be able to have pre-coded into this countdown script. I would need to be able to set the dates/times and then have the code determine which would come up based on the current date, etc.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the following might be a start ... but I haven't messed with coding like this in a few years. I used to be on this forum every day years back ... but now have the 8a-5p.

setcountdown1(2005,09,02,19,30,00)
setcountdown2(2005,09,09,19,00,00)
setcountdown3(2005,09,23,18,30,00)
setcountdown4(2005,10,05,19,30,00)
etc, etc, etc.

Can anyone easily work up the needed code for me? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks. Gordo
