jQuery multi-level menu- drop Up instead? - Part 2

My question is a continuation from this thread.

In that thread the creator asked for code modifications to make the drop down menu change into a "drop up" menu. I posted a followup question in the thread, but the thread had already been resolved, so I figured it would be better to just make a new thread.

So, I'm using the "drop up" menu now, and it works well. However the animation still draws from top to bottom like it was still dropping down. This normally wouldn't be an issue, however, I need to have a large menu in this project with about 15 items, so it looks kind of awkward to have such a large menu being drawn in reverse. Would it be a relatively simple matter to change the code to draw the drop-up menus from bottom to top? If anyone could give some code fragments, I would really appreciate it.
