I've been looking around but can't seem to a answer to this.

On a site I'm producing I'm using a "frame"-like structure via java and ajax functions.

Though the obvious limiter here is that ajax can only load from the local domain.

What I want to do is have a div load an entirely external page from a different domain.

Moving the two sites onto the same domain is not possible.
Php doesn't work due to free web hosting.

Is there any way to do this without using an iframe (due to thier obvious flaws)?
