    Default doctype and firefox trouble

    1) Script Title: dhtml popup

    3) Describe problem:

    hi

    i have problems with doc type and firefox

    when i use divwin.hide() into the iframe it works well with IE and firefox without doctype

    but when i add a doctype it no longer walk with firefox (fine whith IE) because "diwin is undefined"

    i've try to change de doctype but still have de same

    any adea?

    i have try several with the same result, actually i have this one

    Hi,

    I had a similar problem and solved it with php get_browser()
    You can get the client's browser and let the php to add or not add the doctype...

    http://www.php.net/get_browser

    You will need to add browscap.ini to /home and edit php.ini

    There is also a browscap.ini file for asp.

    awaiting that change the link for a classic link which reloads the page

    not so fine but still walking with all browsers
