IE6 Accordion menu status icon colour problem

Dear all,

I am having a minor issue with the status icon on my accordian menu, I have altered it's size and the image that's going into it but other than it's relatively unchanged. The issue is that in IE6 there is a weird colour overlay on top of the image. I have searched around and cannot find a solution, so can anyone help me please?

Looks like a PNG transparency issue. IE6 support for PNG is very lacking. Try changing the image to .gif or .jpg.
