    Default Virtual Box Error

    Hi,

I just installed Virtual Box, and went to try and Start an OS, but I keep getting a "FATAL ERROR".

I attached a screenshot. It won't let me start anything from OS/2 Warp to Mandriva Linux...

    Anyone help?

Edit: Well - the attachment sizes down to about 100px - so I'll host it myself: http://x96webdesign.uuuq.com/xtra/VB_Error.png

    Thanks,

    You have either:

    1. Not installed Windows 7 correctly
    2. Not finished installation

Did you use the disk or boot straight from the .iso which Virtual Box allows? I suggest booting from the .iso, not a disk (in better words, not using a disk to install it).

Oh... You need an ISO? That would be the problem... I thought it had it all built in...

    That explains it...

Haha! Sorry, I can't but help to laugh.. No offense, though.

Yeah, you have to install the operating system before you use it, though it would be pretty awesome if they already had it built in

No offense taken - it made me laugh too...

I wondered about that while it was installing - "are they allowed to give out Windows free?"

    I guess not!
