I am hunting for a good CSS editor for Linux... I loved Topstyle for Windows so if there is anything similar to that please let me know - i.e. I am happy to pay for it if there is no free open source solution.....
Cheers

Gnome's Gedit will automatically detect and highlight all types of source files, including CSS, Javascript and HTML, if you're looking for syntax highlighting... Gedit comes with Gnome.
And if you use Gedit, try this theme for syntax highlighting.

I use this (http://www.liquid-technologies.com/css-editor.aspx) CSS editor but to be honest I dont know how good it is compared to the other editors because i Purchased this program as an XML editor (for £65) and it just happened to have support for CSS as well. I would download the free trial and see what you think for yourself before you buy this though.
Also if you can afford it, Dreamweaver is excellent. I used it when I was at Uni (brings back memories). It is very easy to use and it does a lot of it for you![]()
