    Default Chrome CSS DD Menu missing down arrows

    1) Script Title: Chrome CSS DD Menus

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...rome/index.htm

    3) Describe problem: Check out www.aitest.info (IE, FF and S)

    On the two DD menus, Services and About us, the down arrow is missing; a ? is displayed. This is on Firefox, IE and Safari. Also, I would like Arial as the menu bar font. If you look at Safari, and hit the refresh button you see a very quick second bar behind. I am guessing there are two calls to the code for the menu bar. However, I can not find a second set of html.

    Where is the menu bar font defined? That may lead me to a second set of html. The bar was set to Arial and seemed to work for a brief time but changed early in the install. An additional pointer for duplicate html.

    I am not sure this is the problem and thus I am open to suggestions of what to do and where to look.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

    In http://www.aitest.info/Home_files/chrome.js find the below, and add the red:
    Code:
    var cssdropdown={
    disappeardelay: 250, //set delay in miliseconds before menu disappears onmouseout
    dropdownindicator: '<img src="../Home_files/down.gif" border="0" />', //specify full HTML to add to end of each menu item with a drop down menu
    enablereveal: [true, 5], //enable swipe effect? [true/false, steps (Number of animation steps. Integer between 1-20. Smaller=faster)]
    enableiframeshim: 1, //enable "iframe shim" in IE5.5 to IE7? (1=yes, 0=no)

    Thanks!

    I have another quick question ... where is the menu bar font defined?

    Regards,

    In http://www.aitest.info/Home_files/Home.css change the highlighted:
    Code:
    .chromestyle{
    width: 99%;
    font-family: 'ArialMT', 'Arial', sans-serif;
    font-size: 15px;
    font-weight: bold;
    }
    I also noticed in your css file, at the way way beginning of your document, remove the highlighted:
    Code:
    }
    .chromestyle{
    width: 99%;
    font-family: 'ArialMT', 'Arial', sans-serif;
    font-size: 15px;
    font-weight: bold;
    }
    It's there for no reason, thus being invalid.

    Glad to help you!

    Thanks

    I am trying to change the font from Verdana (the standard in the html) to Arial. Thus, I added the html statement for the arial family.

    font-family: 'ArialMT', 'Arial', sans-serif;
    font-size: 15px;

    I also tried a simple font definition rather than a family definition.

    Both, however, had no effect, and the menu bar is still showing Verdana at 12 px.

    Is the font defined elsewhere?

    I have also looked for a second definition that may have overridden the first Arial font definition but I have not found any.

    Any suggestions?
