Omnislide clash with popup

I have used this menu slide for ages and today I added a popup (GNFGF COMMITTE at the bottom left of the screen) and this seems to be interfering with the action of the menu slides.

I would value some ideas on how to fix this problem please

There is no (upper or lower case):

COMMITTE

on that page when viewing it normally or in source code view.

Please be more specific about what we need to look for.
