Glossy Vertical Menu quesdtion

I've attempted to implement the glossy vertical menu on DD's css library page.

I'm missing a tidbit.

On the example, if I click to the right of the text in the box, it still triggers the menu.

In my implementation, I have to click ON the text of the link to get it to work.

What aspect of the CSS makes the whole box clickable?

Can you post the link to the menu you're talking about?

I haven't memerized all the menu designs.
