Audio not playing in IE
I have a few audio files embedded in a number of web pages. They play fine in Safari and Firefox but there is no audio in IE7 (and probably other versions of IE too). One of the url's is http://www.vancouverhumanesociety.bc...as_radio1.html
I have no idea what is wrong. Any help is graciously accepted.

I tested it in IE5.5, IE6, IE7 and IE8 and it worked fine in all of them. Fwiw, I reckon the egg came first, the dinosaur egg..

LOL! I agree. The dinosaur egg probably topped them all.
So, my client says that they can't hear the audio on the machines at their workplace. Does that mean they are missing some sort of plugin - or perhaps a firewall issue?

Since you just embeded the mp3 file, the user will need to have some audio player in order to hear it. I'm guessing they don't, which would mean it wouldn't work in any browser on their computers. One solution would be to use Flash. Watch this screencast to learn how to use audio on a website and which is the best option:

However, the problem might be much simpler, so ask them if their speakers are plugged in
Good luck!
