    Default How to fix script of TEXTAREA with no scrollbar and no border for Safari IE Firefox?

    I put scripts like below;
    IE7.0, 8.0 and any firefox ver. works fine, except MAC Safari...
    I only know to use textarea...
    Anyone can help solve, please??
    Is tat the problem happens in style="overflow: hidden; border: none"? but tried set as style="overflow: hidden"; border="0" still fail.
    ----------------
    <textarea name="description" cols="45" rows="6" class="bodynormal" style="overflow: hidden; border=none"; width="267px"></textarea>
    ----------------

    Thanks!

    Change that to:
    Code:
    style="overflow: hidden; border: none"
    Good luck!

    That's not a border, it's an outline that some browsers add to highlight the focused object, add this to get rid of it:
    Code:
    style="outline: none; overflow: hidden; border: none"
    Good luck!

    hi snookerman,

    1) may I ask for iPhone, does this script work too?
    style="outline: none; overflow: hidden; border: none"

    2) sadly for some MAC machine still sees whole outline cover the multiline text description like a deemed border, while some MAC machine still sees one single line between a textarea and an image. What do you think?

    3) can I also put "outline: none" in the img src script?
    Original of the image looks like this:
    <img src="./images_flash/001.jpg" name="photoslider" width="305" height-style: "auto" border="0">

    thanks for advice...
