Hi!
I'm sending a message in case somebody here might be able to help me figure out how to alter the space and background color of the area in the address bar where the favicon image appears.
Don't know what I'm trying to say? It's best to look at it:
http://www.dresdner-privat.de
Using Firefox 3x I am able to see the site's favicon brand logo left of the address bar on a green gradient field that extends right to accommodate the company name. I figured I'd look in the html/css for the page to see what makes it tick...nothing. Well, there must be something, but I can't figure it out.
When examining the html, css and js files for the site, I can't find the gradient background graphic, nor anything that styles it or even the text that they've added.
I've tried every keyword I can think of to search for additional info for this kind of styling via Google, but I've been hitting a wall.
Maybe somebody here could suggest where I might be able to get more information for creating and styling, due to the lack of a better word; "favicon backgrounds".
thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Regards,
-RR
