Step Carousel Viewer v1.6.1 & JD Smooth gallery

3) Describe problem:

I am currently running JD's Smooth gallery on a page, and want to add the carousel viewer to the same page, however upon doing so the smoothgallery stops working.

I have read the faq's here on DD with regards to duplicate scripts, but cant seem to find what is causing the issue, as I can see only one event called on the page itself window.addEvent('domready', startGallery); and that is within the script calling the smoothgallery


I have tried checking within the various js files, but carousel viewer uses an encoded file (jquery-1.2.6.pack.js) and as such I cant see if there are any variable clashes. Incidentally if it helps, the smoothgallery is using mootools v1.11

I desperately want to use both scripts on the same page.... any help greatly appreciated.
