    Default Flashing Links script? Need help

    Hello,

    I trying to use a flashing link script which is from this website:
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex5/flashlink.htm

    Now, I've tested the script on my test website and it works just fine, how-ever I have tried to get it to work on my real website but it does not work. I have uploaded all the right files and have set everything exactly the same as my test website. I've set everything up from scratch three times and it still does not work.

    What could be the problem? I am stumped. Could there be a server side issue?

    Thank You

    Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script so we can check it out.

    Hello,

    Here's the link to my test website where it works fine: http://umedia.comze.com/?p=93

    Here's the link to my real website where it is doesn't work: http://tinyurl.com/c73w69

    I made the real website address tiny so that it would now show up in search engines. The download link is the one I am trying to get to flash.

    Thank You

    You'll need to change the tinyurl.com link to the actual address, as otherwise it gets blocked by my firewall.

    Browsing your page (http://umedia.comze.com/?p=156) in FF3.x, I see the "download" link's background flashing yellow actually. Or are you referring to something else?

    Hello,

    Yes on (http://umedia.comze.com/?p=156) It is working. How-ever this is my test website.. if you click on the link that says "CLICK HERE" You will be taken to my real website where it is not working.

    Could it be a serverside problem?

    It looks like just a broken path to the flashinglinks.js file:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="flashinglinks.js">
    When in doubt, just use an absolute URL, such asI:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.tv-dome.net/flashinglinks.js">

    Why didn't I think of that?

    Sometimes I'm a real birdbrain.

    Thanks for the help. Works wonderfully now.
