Can someone please assist me by telling me how to load up images using lightbox where they appear in a box in the form of a pop up

Don't post your email address in a public forum, it will only attract spammers. If you want people to email you ask them to and post your address in your user profile (if you haven't already). Only registered users may access that area, so no spammers are likely to get your address from there, while anyone wanting to email you from the forum can.

About lightbox, there are many scripts that make lightbox type effects. The current versions on DD are:

This does complicate things a bit, but also presents you with just about any option or bundle of options you might want in such a script. Pick one, and follow its installation instructions.
