MP3 Volume Controll

Hello,

We have built a site that contains one page with music playing in the background. This page contains an mp3 on a layer of its own. When the viewer lands on the page with the music, it is a little startling. Is it possible to lower the volume of the mp3 so that the volume is similar to that of the other pages?

Any help is sincerely appreciated.
