Need to use to multiple instances of this script on the same page however all object references appear to be explicit and only one will function at a time. Tried renaming a few things but to no avail.

You have 2 basic choices:

The first is a multiple use version of Cmotion. The second is a multiple use crawler, that can be controlled by users like Cmotion is, but that is a continuous marquee as well - meaning no more 'end of gallery'.
