On IE7 works great, but on FF or Safari it hides drop down menus behind the images instead of on top of it? Any fix for that

While not the best to take a stab at this as most of the others on these forums have a better understanding of these things then me, I would think....but...

Without being able to see the code I can't really see what the issue is but having seen Simple Controls Gallery v1.3, I would think you could use forced z-order to fix this.

Yep it was the z-index did the trick

Added this to the script CSS sytle: Z-index: 1
