Set focus on a div in a page onclick of button using JS

i need to set focus on a div in the page onclick of button how can i do the same.

What do you mean by set focus? Are you looking for something similar to the set focusing on a input text box? If so, that effect won't be able to achieve. If you are looking for a method to show a particular div or rather move to the div element then it can be done.

Hi wt i mean frm my statement is i mean for eg on click of go advanced button on this page i need the page refreshed and focus should be set on this message typed text box div
