I tried adding the extra lines, but it still has the animated motion.

Just to clarify, by "animated motion", do you mean the original effect, or the modified "jump straight to" effect that you want to remove when in auto rotation?

I'm trying to achieve this as well. I need it to jump straight to the selected slide with no "sliding" whatsoever, even if it's going to the very next one. I need it to just appear. I tried these modifications but they don't seem to work. The modified JS file that you provided DOES work but I need it to be no animation for the forward/back buttons as well as the thumbnails that go to a slide. Anybody?
