enhancement to ProHtml ticker script?

Not necessarily a problem, but I don't know how to do something ... I love the script!

I want to add the ability to skip between the entries. An example of what I want to do could be found on www.msn.com: In the middle of the page, you can select Previous, Next or pause to skip around between the news articles.

Although an exact replica would be great, general guidance is also much appreciated.
