    Default Firefox 3 object outline.

    Hi all,

Someone on DD once told me that the outlines on links and such are there for accessibility reasons, so I never disable them (no matter how ugly they look ).

But I've noticed that with Firefox 3, the OBJECT element now has an outline on focus. As I'm sure most of you have seen, this makes Flash movies embedded with SWFObject look funky when you interact with them.

What do you guys think about disabling the outline here? I don't see it adding to accessibility since (in my case anyway) the Flash movies are not links themselves, but contain links.

    Thanks!

Hmm, I always disable or override the outlines. As for accessibility reasons, as long as it looks different than normal text, it should be fine.
