I need to encrypt my gmail address and i'd like to use an alias like userID+blog@gmail.com but email riddler doesn't work with +...

some suggestions?

Is "+" actually a valid character for an email address? I thought it wasn't, but if it is, I'll modify the email riddler tool to accept this character...

yes, you can use "+" to add an alias to your gmail address so you can create filters, fight spam and so on...

I love Gmail for it's flexibility.

Say for example my email address was e.x.ample@gmail.com -

Sending to mail to any of the following would arrive in my inbox:
example@gmail.com
ex.am.ple@gmail.com
ex.ample+test1@gmail.com

Whenever I sign up for untrusted sites (when bugmenot.com fails me), I just put +spam at the end and then put a filter on the to: field.

Ok, Email Riddler has been modified to accept "+" in the username portion. If there are any other problems, please just post here.
