Looking for advice to create an effect

Does anyone know if there are any tutorials out there which show how to create the blurry text effect shown on this website http://www.wildaid.org/index.asp?CID=1 ?

You can use motion blur in photoshop or flash, create 3 files one with a high motion blur, one with slight motion blur and the final text and just run them on the time line to create the animation. You can also use Swish it has a preset for creating the same effect.
