HV Menu First level Menus

I am unable to get HVmenu to have more than 5 first level menus. Is this a normal limitation?

nuh not at all, open the exmplmenu_var.js file in note pad and change the line like below with 7 being the number of first level menus you want. (obviously this can change depending on what you want)

Thanks but I did that using several different numbers 6,7,8 but nothing above the 5 menus will work. Wonder if there is a setting in the *_com.js file ?
