Cross browser Marquee II position problem in Safari

I've installed this script pretty much straight out of the box without changing much just the width and border in the css. Unfortunately it seems to be out of place in Safari and I can't workout why. It's come out to the right of the sidebar it should be in and above the previous element in the list it should be in.
