obviously im a newbie at javascript and dhtml.

I saw a countdown clock on www.F1.com which is highly advanced.
It uses images for the time and also, when the countdown clock reaches zero, the date and the next race position changes automatically! I dont want the countdown clock to use images, just text.

Does anyone know how they did this? Im asking this question because im lazy and would like the script to automatically change to the next date (i have a football website and want the script to change to our next opponents kick off time when the countdown timer reaches zero)
