DDAccordion glossymenu not initializing properly

3) Describe problem:

The menu works in FF, but sometimes the page has to be reloaded before the menu will expand or contract.

The menu does not expand or contract in IE at all.

I have been trying to use the "defaultexpanded:" option to open the first index by default, but it only works when the menu works (or perhaps, the menu only works when the index is expanded by default...?).

I'm sorry for the bump, but I've still been unable to solve this. I still can't get the menu to expand or contract in IE at all. All I can see are the headers.
