    Unhappy Trouble customizing jQuery Multi Level CSS Menu

    Hello,

    New to this forum, thank you in advance for your assistance!
    I'm trying to customize the jQuery Multi Level CSS Menu #2 (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/cs...el_css_menu_2/) but been unsuccessful. Please click here to view the menu http://thewovencompany.com/dev/menuhelp.html . What I'm want to do is to keep the top layer highlighted while hovering over the sub menus.
    If you hover over 'folder 1' the sub menu appears, when you move down to the sub menu items the highlight disappears. It should stay white as I hover over the sub menus.
    I tried adding this line below but had no luck.
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li a:focus {background-color:#FFFFFF; }

    Regards,

    Find this in your css file:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li a:hover{
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;

    }
    and replace it with this:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li:hover > a {
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;
    }
    Good luck!

    Nope, same idea, but do it right this time. You have this:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li a:hover > a {
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;
    }
    but you should have this:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li:hover > a {
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;
    }
    Good luck!

    Are you testing it on this page:
    http://thewovencompany.com/dev/menuhelp.html
    If yes, then you still haven't changed to what I posted, you still have this:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li a:hover > a{
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;

    }
    but I posted this:
    Code:
    .jqueryslidemenu ul li:hover > a{
    	background: #F6C739; /*tab link background during hover state*/
    	color: #000;

    }
    If you are testing this on another page, please post a link to it.

    Good luck!
