Dynamic Image without refresh

i was wondering if this is possible, how to do it, and how much trouble will it take:

i want a part of an image to switch as a result of the choices of two other sets of images.

if its possible i want to do that without refreshing the page.

And the second row of image choice varies depending of the first row.

i'm attaching an image, for better understanding.

Please give me some advice.
