Default Stop Movie Clip from Looping

    Hello,

If anyone can help solve this question, it would be sincerely appreciated.
Maybe I have incorrectly built a Flash file because it will not stop looping.

There are a few layers within this file (scene) that also are below a layer "mask". One of these layers under the mask has a movie clip.
That movie clip has five layers. Each of those five layers has a movie clip.

In the main timeline, in the actions layer, there is a "stop" in the last frame.
This stops the main movie. However, the movie clip mentioned above (with the five layers) continues looping. This movie clip also has an actions layer with a "stop" in the last frame. It seems this should work. However, it does not.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would truly be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Sergio

What you describe should work, if done correctly. Make sure there are no typos. If all seems fine, zip up your files and upload them somewhere. Post a link here and I'll have a look.

    Hey Sergio,

I took a look at your file. Unfortunately, I can't figure out what's going on there. There has to be some hidden actions somewhere, but I'm not seeing them.

The only advice I can give is to either:
    1. Decompile the SWF. Usually that will pull out any hidden ActionScript.
    2. Start from scratch.
