DD Tab Menu: tabs not showing current URL

I just installed and configured the DD Tab Menu on a site I'm designing, however, I can't get to work the "auto select tab" feature

The first parameter (highlighted in red) should be the ID of the Menu Tab to initialize once the page has fully loaded. The second parameter lets you set which tab should be selected by default- enter either an integer (0=1st tab, 1=2nd tab etc), or "auto" to have the script try to automatically select the tab that matches the current page's URL.

I'm looking for help in how to make it work. In the home page it's working because it's set to "0" (ddtabmenu.definemenu("ddtabs1", 0) //initialize Tab Menu

In the interior pages, it does not work: (ddtabmenu.definemenu("ddtabs1", "auto") //initialize Tab Menu )


The weird thing is that it worked for a few minutes, both locally on my computer and on the server, and then it stopped working.
