Default Want to tweak "Glossy Vertical Menu"

I love this menu and was able to reproduce it and it functions properly on my website. However I'd like to tweak it a little with two things:

    1. I would like to add submenus. For instance, if my menu item is called "About Us" I want users to click on it, have the page load, then underneath "About Us" (still in the vertical menu) I want some submenus to appear(distinguished by a different background color) that say "President", "Vice President", etc. I don't want sliding pop outs. How do I do this?

    2. I also want users to be able to tell "where they are" in the menu...so once they click on a menu item, I want it to stay the way it looks when you hover. That way it sticks out amongst the rest and users know what page they are on. Similar to the "down" function of a rollover button.

    Thanks for the help!
