    Could someone please tell me what is the name of this basic "Photo Gallery"script, where do I obtain it from?

    There is no way to tell just from picture. Please post a link to the site where you found this gallery.

    You could also take a look at the galleries on DD to see if you find want you need:

    Forgive me Snookerman, may be I am missing something....the script I wish to have has got a fixed frame and thumbnails under it.

    That is not done with a script. You can achieve that with simple html and css. The script I posted is for the "lightbox" that appears when you click the image.
