Ultimate Fade-in slideshow: how to slow transition

Is there any way for me to customize this script to slow down the fade between images? I've set the DELAY to 6000 so that each image is displayed for longer, but I would also like the transition between images to be slower.

Thanks so much for providing this script. I was pulling my hair out trying to get another to work.
