Help with update to script

I would like to be able to call the input values left check when its first
started as I dont allways have empty inputs.

when a page loads some of the inputs allready have default text in them, I would like the script to update the display of how many letters are left once it has loaded.

the script can deside it just does not want to work (like on this test page)
but on other forms it works just fine. no idea why V_V

Ah ok I see what you mean with the default text request now. This is a very old script, so instead of trying to modify it, it's probably best that I just rewrite it. I'll put this script at the front of the next script to update on DD. Unfortunately I can't say exactly when that will be, but most likely within the next 2 weeks.
