Hello,

I created a javascript instant message program using AJAX, javascript and some php. I think it is great 'cause it avoids the heavy cost of messaging servers, although I've never tested it with heavy bandwidth. Pretty easy and simple and the free code/ examples are available here:

a few times, then comes up with:

Oh, and freezes the browser every five seconds or so.

Nice attempt though - I'd never even heard that this was possible. You learn something every day!

Sorry I've been installing messenger notification today and had some trouble when I transferred to the live folder. But it all works now so give it another shot. AJAX chat

If I were you, I'd block Javascript in the messages. Other than that, good work, but it stopped working right after I said "you might want to fix that." Said it was sending the data, but it wasn't.
