script not working in DNN

I am using "Step Carousel Viewer v1.6.1" to scroll images. My images are coming from code and scroller is working fine. But I am using this in my Dotnetnuke project after adding the reference to 2 javascript "jquery-1.js" and "stepcarousel.js" the scroller works fine but it kills my menu.

If I remove the reference to file "jquery-1.js" now my menu works but scroller do not work anymore. I tried to look into "jquery-1.js" file but couldn't understand. Can you help me with this.
